Do you thrive in the wet element? You can rent canoes in several places in Rauland this summer. Rauland Skisenter rents rowing boats and canoes on Uvatn (below Vierli cafeteria) and also has two boats on Oksatjønn.
- Rauland Skisenter rents rowing boats and canoes on Uvatn (below Vierli cafeteria) and also has two boats on Oksatjønn. Rental costs 100, – pr. hour / 200, – pr. day, oars and life jackets included. Rental takes place at Vierli Cafeteria, and is free for overnight guests at Rauland Feriesenter.
- Raulandsfjell has canoes available on the banks of Totak. These cost 150, – for half a day and 250, – for a whole day, and you can also rent a boat trailer if you want to use a canoe elsewhere. Prices include life jackets. Stop by or contact the reception on tel. 35 07 35 55.
- Austbø Hotell (Camp Vierli) has canoes and SUP boards for rent. Below the hotel is idyllic Tansvatn, with excellent paddling opportunities in the sound out to Lognvikvatnet. Canoes cost 250, – for half a day and 300, – for a whole day. You can rent SUP boards for 290 for three hours or 450 for a whole day. Fishing
Rauland has fantastic fishing lakes in Totak, Lognvikvatn, Tansvatn and Møsvatn, 8-10 km from Vierli. Fishing licenses can be purchased at Inatur.no. If you rent cabins at Rauland Feriesenter, you can fish for free in our mountain lakes Oksatjønn and Uvatn. In Uvatn there is a limited area, but in Oksatjønn you can fish everywhere.
